How do I purchase tickets to the event?

Tickets are purchased and facilitated through Howler. You can purchase them by clicking here.

How long is my ticket valid?

Your ticket is valid for the full 2 days of the event: 31 July 2021 and 1 August 2021

What happens if I purchased a ticket but cannot / was not able to attend the event?

Unfortunately, tickets are non-refundable.

Programme and Speakers

Can I choose which talks I want to watch?

You can definitely choose which talks you want to watch.
The event will open 1 day prior so that you have visibility of the full agenda and speakers schedule. You can then also set reminders and add events to your calendar for specific talks that interest you – we wouldn’t want you to miss a thing!

When will I be able to see the final programme?

The final programme will be shared here 1 week prior to the event.

When will I be able to see the final speaker list?

The final speaker list will be shared here 1 week prior to the event.

Prizes and Competitions

How can I win prizes?

By simply participating and engaging with us at the event, you stand the chance to win prizes over the 2-day period.

How do prizes on stage work?

Prizes will be announced on stage (the main page of the event) by the MC at the dedicated times allocated for prize wins. This is done by random draw and winners will be chosen based on engagements by viewers on the platform.

I have won a prize, how do I claim it?

BabyYumYum will contact all winners via email/SMS within a week after the event to arrange delivery details for your prize. Delivery timeline details will be communicated with winners via email or SMS.

How does the Safari Plains Mabula competition work?

Any person who purchases a ticket to the event goes into a draw to win a holiday for 2 to Safari Plains Mabula, sponsored by Extraordinary. The winner will be chosen and announced 1 week post-event after an audited draw takes place. The winner will be contacted via email or SMS.

Access To and During The Event

How do I access the event?

After you have purchased your ticket from Howler, you will receive an email with a button that contains the live stream. When you click the button, you will be automatically directed to the live event. Should your button not work, the emailer you received will contain a URL link that you can copy and paste directly into your browser to access the event. 

What is a virtual photo booth?

During the event, you will be able to access a virtual photo booth. The virtual photo booth will allow you to snap fun pictures of yourself with our event frame, that you can then share onto your social media platforms to show your friends that you are attending The Virtual Parenting Experience. By sharing your photo onto social media, you may also be eligible to win amazing prizes at the end of Day 2 (should your name be drawn and you post using the correct hashtag [#BYYExperience]).

Will I be able to browse brands / products?

We have a number of brand sponsors on board and will have a virtual space where you can access their online shops and offerings. Some brand partners will have engaging workshops at their event space where you can learn about their product offering.

Will I be able to ask questions related to a specific topic during a talk?

Yes. Our experts or their representatives will be available to answer any questions during their talk. 

Can I download the talks after the fact?

Content presented on the mains stage is not accessible after the event and cannot be downloaded, so make sure you attend the talks you are interested in.

Goodie Bags

How will I know if I get a goodie bag or not?

When you purchase a ticket, the email with your access information will stipulate whether you qualify for a goodie bag or not. Goodie bags are to be collected from your selected Supa Quick store (if a store was selected at purchase). Distribution is limited. Please see Ts&Cs for more information.
